This project is to make an invitation to invite people celebrating Etuenne de Montgolfier, the first man get into the sky by using hot balloon. Because this events was hold in year 1783 so I did a lot of research about what kind of pattern are they using in that time and what kind of font they using at that time. I found that year 1783 was in Bourbon Dynasty so I adopted the Bourbon royal pattern from that time period and separate the pattern in three layers then laser cut them separately, in that way, when you open the invitation you can see three different pattern but when you fold the invitation you will get the Bourbon royal pattern. Also the font they using at that time period is scrip font and with a lot elegant decoration. To make the piece more elegant I vinyl cut all the decoration and paste them on the invitation.
